Last year, we proved that when it comes to closing the gender gap in STEM, the show must go on. We held one of the most successful post-COVID conventions and continued to persevere and emerged stronger from the crisis.
Since the beginning of 2021, we joined the Women.Digital.Future Initiative which includes the launch of Ladies Who Tech mini-program, China’s First “Gender Diversity and Inclusion” mini-program, and a series of offline Ladies Who Tech in Action events in Shanghai, Beijing, Chengdu, and Shenzhen.
As we launched the new Shenzhen city chapter, we reactivated our Wuhan and Xi'An city chapters, and are planning new chapters in Guangzhou and Hangzhou.
We also have plans to publish China’s first white paper on Chinese women in the digital economy with a sampling size of over 20,000 people. The white paper will play a crucial role in lobbying government, corporations, and everyone to join forces and invest in digital empowerment for women to create an inclusive, cohesive, and comprehensive virtual world.
We invite you to celebrate the milestones with us at the Ladies Who Tech Convention 2021!
The Convention attracts participants who are eager to hear insights on e-commerce, AI, big data, automotive, semiconductor, and current trends of STEM industries.
With the theme: <women+digital=future> we invite thought leaders, founders, role models, and experts to share their STEM journey, industry insights, and how to thrive in the new norm to build a more inclusive digital economy. We will officially launch the Ladies Who Tech mini-program and present the research findings of the white paper.
This year we will feature a panel on “Why Women+Digital=Future?” As the pandemic has hurt more women at the workplace, this panel will discuss the situation, challenges, and solutions to empower and rebuild the future with women by providing them with digital upskilling opportunities.
Another panel, “Building a Sustainable and Green World Through Innovation and Tech”, will focus on innovators and entrepreneurs who create products to make the world a better place.
There will be workshops, start-up pitch and speed-mentoring sessions. Of course, we will be bringing back the highly popular Tech Corner and STEM Career Fair!
